07/21/2012: Janice from Rosenberg, Texas: "About 6 years ago I was tested & treated for H-Pylori. I had to take two 14 day treatments. My pain go better for a while the a couple of months ago I was feeling so bad that I requested a complete blood work up. I had HP again. I am now on my second round. My question is: Can HP be cured. I really don't know what to do if it comes up positive. Any information would be apprecaited."
05/21/2012: Lauren from Wayne, Pa.: ".. Tried to take the antibiotic with 4 hrs of watery diarrhea to kill this H. Pylori.. Now, Dr's tell me I have to do it again! At what point do stop and what's another antibiotic could I take! Help!"Replies
05/22/2012: Lisa from Jax, Fl replies: "Hi Lauren, I used colloidal silver every day for at least a week on an empty stomach. I used meso silver and divided up the daily dose. You must do it on an empty stomach. Then I took mastic gum also. Mine has been gone for months now!"
12/20/2011: Ppat from New York: "Hi,
I was suffering from pain under my left rib cage for the last one month. Went to a GE and he did endoscopy to find out that I have moderate gastritis. The biopsy did show presence of H pylori. He is going to put me on triple therapy soon (amoxy, clarithro and lansoprazole).
Is there a natural way to get rid of H pylori in addition to taking antibiotics? I have read some topics and came to know about garlic, turmeric and virgin coconut oil. Are these good? Has anyone taken the test to detect HP after trying out natural remedies. Also, any opinions about how to control side effects of antibiotics?"Replies

06/22/2011: Jay from Ellicott City, Md, Usa: "Hello,
I have been diagnosed two months back with H-Pylori stomach infection. My Doctor gave me 2 weeks of Prevpac. He said I would get better after that and should get checked up after 3 months. I have finished taking Prevpac and it is more than 1 & 1/2 month now. I am not feeling any better. My stomach is sensitive and cannot digest certain foods. I have lost lot of weight.
I have seen from other posts that taking 1/8 to 1/4 spoon Sodium Bicarbonate in a glass of water 2 -3 times a day will help. My question is will this kill the bacterial infection or do I have to take something else?
Appreciate any suggestions and dieatary recommendations.
06/23/2011: Debbie from Atlanta, Usa replies: "I have read that cranberry juice without sugar, which u would buy at health food store or u can try Pine Oil, from Optimally Organic web-site. I know the pine oil will work it cured my husbands H Pylori u do know it can be passed on through kissing? I hope this is helpful."
01/30/2012: Ajeeth from Toronto, Canada replies: "I had developed mild ulcers due to H. Pylori 15 years ago. I was given the triple therapy amoxillin, clarithomycin and omezoprezole for 15 days and it worked well. Before that I was trying many natural remedies, but nothing worked. Again after three years I had to take another course of the triple therapy as the H. Pylori does not get completely cured. Now it is under control and I take ACV regularly after meals. I am able to eat all the spicy foods without any problem.
In my opinion it is very important to take the antibiotic triple therapy treatment to cure the ulcers and to kill the h. Pylori bacteria. After that one can control with natural therapy especially ACV."
08/11/2009: Ken from Leeds, England Uk: "I have suffered with a bad stomach for most of my life and I will be hitting 60 next year. I have had the so called eradication treatment twice and the H-Pylori has returned. I am waiting to do the stool test and will drop the sample off on Friday 14th Aug 09. Unfortunately I have had to be off the Omeprazole for two weeks prior to the stool sample and have been in agony - acid cruizing up my throat, mouth and in my lungs. The bloating is worse that it has ever been I definitely looked and felt pregnant today. Does anyone know what the bloat is, Gas? water retention? I have been on Omeprazole for 9yrs now and dont want another nine years on it. So on friday will donate the sample and then try everything such as coconut oil Cider vinegar, Citricidal, Lactoferrin, colloidal silver and manuka honey. The bugs will think they have been nuked (hopefully) I'm not sure whether to have the antibiotic treatment first and use the others as a mopping up exercise. Any ideas. Keep up the good work on this site. God bless you all Ken"Replies
03/07/2010: Cb from Blaricum, Netherlands replies: "Hi, A home remedie for stomach issues is drinking raw cabbagge juice in the morning or the juice of a raw potato, (don't quit to0 soon). Using digestive enzymes to help digesting your food is good to. Instead of the digestive enzymes you can drink ACV (a tablespoon with sodium bicarbonate) half an our before your meal. Cayennepepper is also known as a healing agent for stomach problems. If you have such a long time H. Pylori it is very likely that you have a vitamin B12 deficiency as well. This vitamin is made in your stomach/digestive tract (look it up) it is called the intrinsic factor. This deficiency shows up a long time after your body is not being able to make it and it can cause a wide range of ailments for which you can be misdiagnosed! You can take it via a tablet under your tongue together with Folic Acid and/or a vitamin B-complex. Regards CB"
05/14/2009: Bob from Pristina, Kosovo: "Chronic Gastritis: To be honest I have never tried any native herbs. I have been having stomach problems since 1990. Tried all sorts of drugs but nothing happened. In 2006, I was tested positive for H Pylori, and had it treated. In 2008 I was diagnosed of inflammation of the oesophagus, GERD and deudonal problem but no ulcers. I was treated again for the H.pylori, this time with antibiotics, and placed on omeprazole for three months. Few months down the line everything woke up again. Just last week I have been told that the GERD is now chronic, and prescribed CONTROLOC, GASTAL and SPASMEX, and the doctor is also recommending another endoscopic and colonoscopy examinations. Worst of all I am now feeling constant pain in my throat. Last night I decided to check for alternative treatments. The information on the website is great. Will have to try one at a time and will get back to you with what works best for me. But what do you advise- do I stop taking the RX drugs. By the way, I don't smoke neither take alcohol, and I stopped eating spicy food since May last year but the problem can't just go away. Sometime I only feel better after standing up. Good thing though I don't vomit but I am not going to tiolet as I used to. PLEASE ADVISE!"Replies
[YEA] 07/30/2010: Isabelle from Garden Grove, Ca Usa replies: "Hello! I am sorry that you have that nasty h pylori. It is said that half the planet is suffering of it. Many years ago I had an ulcer and although I hadn't heard of h. pylori at the time (in the 60's) I am now sure it was involved. Here is what helped me: a lot of fresh onion juice, (I poured it on my soup). Garlic and rough gray sea salt in a mortar pounded to a paste a bit of oil, I used olive oil then, but, you can use coconut oil for antibacterial property. This paste is to be consumed WITHIN half an hour. (the crushing releases the components, but it kind of loses its property pretty fast. A friend's father who was a pharmacist used to say ). The proportions are small but often. : 2 large cloves 1/8 of salt enough oil to make the paste consistency 4 to 6 time during the day. I did that in the week end for 2 or 3 days for obvious reasons. I also drank a tea of calamus root soaked in COLD water (not cooked) overnight from which I drank a mouthful before AND after my 3 meals, NOT more. That, I kept on taking for a long time, I don't remember, but, 3 months maybe. Also I ate mild food like green beans, carrots, beets, turnips, leeks. I ate meat (today you need to look only for grass fed beef) once or twice a day , 100gr freshly ground and barely cooked a few seconds on each side to make it easy on the digestion. I drank another tea cold (not cooked) this one was for the liver/gallbladder: mistletoe but that was along the day maybe 3 - 4 cups. If your tea is cut: you count 1 tsp per cup, if it is powdered: you count 1/4 per cup of non-chlorinated water. Now, that what I did in those days and it worked. Today, before doing to all that, I would use turmeric for a couple of days; 1 tsp every hour a pinch of baking soda while awake and a soft, almost liquid, pudding of slippery elm in between to soften the stomach's walls. Aloe may be good to for that too. Anyway you can combine. The idea is to kill the bacteria and virus then soothe the walls of the digestive system, while making sure that everything is moving out. I believe turmeric kills and soothes, but I think for the movement, you need the veggies. I hope that gives you some ideas. In Europe there were several herbalist stores where you got advice. Now, we have the net and ec! Look into Austrian Maria Treben -she even wrote a book full of knowledge and anecdotes. I hope you get well fast. PEACE!"
07/30/2010: Labes from Toronto, Ontario, Canada replies: "Hello everybody, Does there exist a sound remedy against H. Pylori infection? I have tried Hpac, the matula tea, manuka honey, mastic gum and nothing seems to help. Thank you."
08/02/2010: Tom from Regina, Sk replies: "Labes:
Did you try any of these here:
One answer NOT there is in this short pdf:
Http://www.donaldmiller.com/JPandS Extrathyroidal Benefits of Iodine.pdf
Under "Other functions of Inorganic Iodine":
... And protects against abnormal growth of bacteria
In the stomach, Helicobacter pylori in particular. Inorganic iodine is that unbound to any life carbon, like in foods (seafoods, especially). In other words, LUGOLs solution (5% has 6. 25 mg Iodines/drop) or Iodoral tablets (12. 5 mg per tablet = 2 drops of 5% LUGOLS). Or SSKI= saturated solution potassium iodide. Any budget drugstore no-name Iodine tincture will be OK, too, BUT make sure it's NOT isopropylalcohol-based! (Ethyl alcohol or water-based only. )
You must then adjust oral dosage for how "watery" it is relative to LUGOLS or SSKI.
Here, one well known doc uses 100 milligrams/day in the "boost" phase! :
100 mg would be 16 drops/day of the 5% LUGOLS. Stomach lining cells normally have among the highest concentration of iodine of any in the body! The obvious reason is to kill any bacteria in the food even before the Ig (immunoglobulins) go after it. This would include the H. Pylori already living there."

[YEA] 02/02/2008: ilikenatural from somewherein iowa, usa: "I was diagnosed with H Pylori and was in a lot of pain. This ulcer is treated with antibiotics but within a week of finishing the prescription I was in pain again. By accident I found slippery elm bark stops the pain. For 2 years now I take 1 slippery elm pill a day and it has worked. If I do get pain throughout the day (during mensus or after spicy food) I take another and it immediately works. Hope this helps someone."Replies

Swig of Tequila
[YEA] 04/23/2013: Jolene from Albuquerque, New Mexico: "I accidentally found what for me is a sure cure for the H. Pylori infection. It's just one swig of tequila. It has worked for me three times. Each time I used it, the infection was gone for years. Also, I used pink bismol to soothe the irritated stomach lining. Now, if I were to get it again, I'd use aloe vera juice instead."Replies

08/09/2011: Msrose from Newport News, Virginia, United States: "I have been dealing with stomach problems almost my whole life. In 2002, after a series of "attacks", my gallbladder was removed. Since then, it's always one thing or another. Poor digestion mainly. Just recently stomach pain - sometimes severe-, bloating and feeling of fullness is a huge issue. After a gastro biopsy, Dr. Diagnosed me with H Pylori bacteria. 3 weeks of massive dose of antibiotics helped for a few weeks. I was also told 2 prilosecs a day. I am back to square one maybe just worse.
Searching the net, I came across information on Turmeric. Studies show it's a real fighter against such bacteria. Just went and got some from vitamin store and took my first one tonight. Will follow treatment 2x day for at least one week. I will be able to tell because the eternal pain in my stomach will subside (as it did after the rounds of antibiotics) and hopefully the bloating as well.
I hope I remember to post a follow up here (making a reminder right now). Will keep you posted. Promise"Replies
